Demystifying Nutrition

Exploring the impact of poor nutrition on women in Myanmar

Client: Crown Agents/HARP-F

What was the project?

What is the impact of poor nutrition? How does it affect opportunities throughout life for women, and young children?

Working with Crown Agents/HARP-F, we produced an explainer animation to demystify nutrition in Myanmar. The aim was to explore the issues surrounding its causes and impacts, but also to explain that good nutrition is about more than just what we eat.

The animation follows a Myanmar woman through stages of her life, exploring the way poor nutrition could have a detrimental affect on her health, and the risk of perpetuating a vicious cycle of poor nutrition and poverty.

We produced this animation in both English, and a translated version in Myanmar language.

What did our client think?

It was a pleasure working with Tim, who carefully steered us through a complicated process to produce an excellent final product. Tim showed a good understanding of nutrition, which is quite a technical area, and used that knowledge to create quite a technical animation. Throughout the process, Tim was reliable and demonstrated excellent communication, so we were never in any doubt where the project stood in terms of progress.
