What was the project?
We worked with the Regional Durable Solutions Secretariat (ReDSS) to create this whiteboard-style inspired, educational animation exploring the concept of Area-Based Approaches.
An ‘Area-based Approach’ provides for people in need in a specific geographic area, as opposed to targeting particular population groups (for example, internally displaced people). The animation unpacks the importance of the approach, shares a case study based on ReDSS' experience in the Somali Region of Ethiopia, and provides eight tips for applying it in displacement contexts.
